Homeschool families looking to add some movement to the school week have a local option returning this fall.
The Benbrook Community Center YMCA will begin another six-week season of Homeschool PE on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 1 to 2 p.m. This session puts soccer at the center of the action.
Kids will work on fitness and motor skills while learning the basics of soccer, game strategy and teamwork. The program also gives homeschool students a chance to get active and meet other kids in the community.
The six-week program is open to families interested in adding organized physical education to their homeschool routine.
Registration is now available. Learn more and sign up through the Benbrook Community Center YMCA.
