BENBROOK, TX – Hold onto your hats, Benbrook! Strong winds have set off emergency sirens across the area as a massive dust storm from West Texas blankets the sky.
The Panhandle is currently experiencing winds up to 80 MPH, toppling 18-wheelers and creating hazardous conditions.
While most of the haze is dust, wildfires fueled by high winds are also a concern, with some reported in Wise County. This isn’t smoke—it’s dust, so visibility may be low.
