BENBROOK, Texas — A stolen SUV barreled through a Benbrook neighborhood Thursday evening, crashing into a garage and leaving neighbors stunned.
Thankfully, the homeowners were not present during the 5:30 p.m. incident near Westpark and Lakeway Drive.
The chaos unfolded when Fort Worth police attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, driven by 33-year-old Adam John Goras III. Security footage captured the SUV making a sharp turn before losing control and slamming into the garage. Goras fled on foot, clumsily jumping a fence before officers apprehended him at the scene.
Goras now faces multiple charges, including evading arrest, unauthorized vehicle use, identity fraud, and theft.
