Giving Tuesday Shines a Light on Local Needs.

Giving Tuesday is here, and one Fort Worth nonprofit is showing how far a simple gift can go for families right here at home.

When a student opens the door to find a week of groceries, or a parent receives clean clothing for their child, the relief lasts long after the moment passes. Even a small gift becomes a real lifeline.

Fort Worth Community Collaborative (FWCC), a grassroots group supporting Benbrook Middle-High School families and others across FWISD, is inviting neighbors to join a day focused on practical care and generosity.

A donation of $10 helps supply a full week of emergency clothing for someone in need. A gift of $30 delivers a week of groceries to an FWISD family facing food insecurity. These quiet needs shape a householdโ€™s entire week, and FWCC meets them head-on.

Volunteers see the impact daily as they pack clothing bags, prepare food deliveries, and check in on families who often slip through the cracks. Because FWCC is small by design, every dollar moves quickly and reaches the people who need it most.

Residents who want to help can donate at https://givebutter.com/FWCC. Those curious to see the work up close are welcome to volunteer and witness the difference it makes.
