If the freeze wiped out your cookie stash, Benbrook has you covered. Girl Scout Troop 2504 will be out around town this weekend with plenty of cookies and a chance to support a good cause.
Cookie booths are scheduled across several familiar spots.
On Friday, January 30, the troop will be at Benbrook Russell Feed from 7 am to 7 pm.
Saturday, January 31, includes stops at Westside Cafe from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, the Benbrook YMCA from 10 am to 5 pm, Benbrook Walmart from 1 to 4 pm, and the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Vickery from 4 to 7 pm.
On Sunday, February 1, booths return to Westside Cafe from 10 am to 2 pm, the Benbrook YMCA from 1 to 5 pm, Benbrook Walmart from 4 to 7 pm, and the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Vickery from 4 to 7 pm.
Along with filling cookie orders, Troop 2504 is continuing its Cookies for Heroes program. Donations help provide cookies to first responders in the Benbrook area as a small thank-you for their service.
Cookies are $6 per box, and the troop accepts cash, card, Venmo, and PayPal. For Benbrook residents, it is an easy weekend stop that supports local girls while giving back to the community.
