FWISD Recognizes Top Teachers During Teacher Appreciation Week.

Benbrook residents, it’s time to celebrate the educators who make learning come alive.

Fort Worth ISD has named its finalists for District Teacher of the Year—and these ten powerhouse teachers are leading the charge in classrooms across the city with heart, grit, and excellence.

In the elementary division, hats off to Chloe Marshall (Clifford Davis Elementary), Denice Carpenter (Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard), Lorena Escalante (Oakhurst Elementary), Mishayla Williams (D. McRae Elementary), and Sara Herrera (Greenbriar Elementary). Each of them embodies what it means to serve with love and lead with impact.

On the secondary side, congratulations to Angelica Navarro (Western Hills High School), Carol Shores (Morningside Middle School), Emily Allen (Young Women’s Leadership Academy), KaCee Dobbins (Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School), and Raven Minter (Applied Learning Academy). These educators are helping shape bright futures one student at a time.

Let’s give them the recognition they deserve during this Teacher Appreciation Week. Their dedication is building stronger schools and a better tomorrow for all of us.
