After three straight days of weather disruptions, Fort Worth ISD announced schools will remain closed on Wednesday, January 28, due to ongoing winter conditions across the area.
While some major roads are improving, many neighborhood and side streets remain icy and unsafe. District leaders say that mix creates too much risk for buses, student drivers, staff, and families trying to get to and from campuses.
All athletics, after school programs, and campus or district activities scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled or will be rescheduled. Individual campuses and programs will share updated details as plans are confirmed.
