Residents keeping an eye on growth and development around Fort Worth now have updated tools to track upcoming zoning cases across the city.
The City of Fort Worth recently updated its zoning webpage ahead of the upcoming May Zoning Commission meeting, organizing active zoning cases by City Council district to help residents more easily follow projects connected to their area.
City officials also highlighted an interactive zoning map that allows users to search cases throughout Fort Worth and review development activity citywide.
The online zoning page now includes:
- A tutorial explaining how to use the zoning map
- Agendas for upcoming Zoning Commission meetings
- A link for residents wanting to sign up to speak at meetings
- Minutes from previous meetings
Community members with questions about zoning notifications or listed cases can contact the city by email at Zoninglanduse@fortworthtexas.gov.
Residents can review zoning cases and access the city’s tools at https://fortworthtexas.gov/zoning.
As Fort Worth continues expanding westward, the updated resources offer residents another way to stay informed about decisions that may eventually shape nearby neighborhoods, traffic patterns, businesses, and future development.
