Fort Worth to Host Fourth Annual 9/11 Memorial Tower Climb.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Fort Worth will once again unite to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, with the Fourth Annual 9/11 Memorial Tower Climb at the City Center’s Bank of America Tower, 301 Commerce Street.

The event follows a symbolic route mirroring the 110-story journey faced by first responders in the Twin Towers. Participants will climb to the 30th floor three times, then ascend to the 20th floor on the fourth round. Each climber carries a lanyard with the name and photo of a fallen first responder, creating a deeply personal tribute.

Check-in opens at 6:30 a.m. A moment of silence will be held at 8:46 a.m., marking the time the first plane struck the North Tower. The climb begins at 8:47 a.m. and is expected to finish by noon.

Last year’s event brought together more than a hundred first responders and community members. Alongside the climb, visitors experienced fire safety demonstrations, met comfort dogs from the Fort Worth Police Department, and connected with local police, fire, and rescue teams.

The $50 registration fee supports nonprofits that benefit first responders. More information and sign-ups are available at citycenterfw.com/memorial-tower-climb.

This gathering serves as a poignant reminder that, as the years pass, the courage and sacrifice of that day remain deeply ingrained in Fort Worth’s spirit.
