The North Texas Knights Baseball and Softball Club is mourning alongside the community after a devastating accident involving the Elliott family.
On Saturday night, a drunk driver struck their SUV head-on, killing Brytni Elliott and critically injuring her husband, Coach Spencer Elliott, and their daughter, Allie.
Brytni was a wife, mother, friend, and nurse whose compassion touched the lives of countless individuals. She most recently served as Director of Nursing at the Tarrant County Correctional Facility, where she was recognized for her selfless care and dedication.
Spencer, a U.S. Navy Corpsman and current reservist, is also a teacher and coach at Keller High School. Through his work with the NTX Knights and FW Cats baseball and softball organizations, he has mentored and inspired young athletes both on and off the field.
Now, as Spencer and Allie fight to recover, their children Cooper, Allie, and Eli face the difficult reality of grieving their mother while navigating an uncertain road ahead.
Friends, neighbors, and community members are being asked to step in and support this family that has given so much. Donations will help cover funeral costs, medical expenses, and ongoing care for the children. Contributions can be made at givesendgo.com/ElliottFamily5.
In moments like these, the strength of a community is measured by how it comes together. Benbrook residents now have an opportunity to show that support in a way that will carry the Elliott family through their darkest season.
