Benbrook’s ballfields were busy Friday night as the Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association welcomed players and families for the start of its fall season.
The Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association thanked the community for turning out for Opening Night and the many local groups and volunteers who helped make it happen.
Among those taking part were Benbrook Par 3 Golf, D-BAT Benbrook, Benbrook police and fire departments, Mayor Jason Ward, City Manager Jim Hinderaker, Julie Dornak, BMHS student volunteers, JL Creations, Kookie Cake and DJ Keynote. BYBSA also recognized its board members, concession workers and volunteers for their work supporting Benbrook’s young athletes.
With Opening Night in the books, BYBSA now turns its attention to a full fall season of baseball and softball.
