The Benbrook Bobcats started 2025 with a bang, crushing the Carter-Riverside Eagles 78-25 in a commanding performance last night.
Refreshed after a holiday break and eager to bounce back from a close loss to Whitesboro, the Bobcats were firing on all cylinders both offensively and defensively, securing their 12th win of the season and their second district victory.
Now holding a 12-11 record, the Bobcats are back on track. Meanwhile, Carter-Riverside continues to struggle, falling to 2-15 after dropping 11 of their last 12 games.
Both teams are set to face the Dunbar Wildcats next, pending weather conditions. The Bobcats hit the road for a 7:00 p.m. matchup Friday, while Carter-Riverside will host the Wildcats on January 14th at 7:30 p.m.
