The postseason run continues for the Benbrook Bobcats Baseball after the team swept Bridgeport in last week’s Bi-District playoff series to claim the 2026 Bi-District Championship.
Now the Bobcats turn their attention to Brock in the Area Round, with the best-of-three series set to take place at Weatherford College.
Game 1 is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, at 7 p.m., followed by Game 2 on Friday, May 8, at 7 p.m. If a third game is needed, the teams will return Saturday, May 9, at 1 p.m.
All games will be played at Weatherford College, located at 398 College Park Drive in Weatherford.
Benbrook heads into the matchup with momentum after a strong opening-round performance and will now face one of the area’s perennial baseball programs with a regional playoff spot on the line.
As the playoffs continue, the Bobcats are giving local fans another reason to pack the stands and make the short drive west to support a team that keeps finding ways to win.
