Benbrook’s Bake Sale for Teachers.

This Saturday morning, sweet smells will drift down Claire Creek Road as neighbors roll up their sleeves for the 2nd Annual Bake Sale for Teachers.

From 9 a.m. to noon at 10204 Claire Creek Rd, tables will be stacked with brownies, cakes, lemon bars and cake pops, all ready to tempt your sweet tooth for a good cause.

Every dollar you spend helps check off an item on a local teacher’s classroom wishlist for the coming school year. Whether you grab a treat for yourself or a bundle to share, your support goes straight back to educators who pour so much into Benbrook kids.

If you know a teacher who could use a little extra love, they are encouraged to share their wishlist. Organizers will be sending out gifts next week to make sure no classroom is left out.

So bring a friend, bring your appetite and help spread the word. A little sugar can do a lot of good.
