The Benbrook YMCA is gearing up for a busy winter with programs aimed at families, students, and anyone looking for a fresh start in the new year.
First up is the Y’s January Pay-the-Day promotion. Whatever the calendar date is when you sign up, that is your join fee. The earlier you walk in, the more you save. Benbrook residents also get twenty percent off monthly dues with proof of residency, making January a great time to start a new routine.
For middle schoolers, the Y is hosting Middle School Madness on December 19 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. It’s a safe and fun night out with dinner, games, prizes, and plenty to keep kids busy. The cost is ten dollars for members and fifteen dollars for nonmembers. Registration is available at the Benbrook Y or online at ymcafw.org.
Families who homeschool can also take advantage of the Y’s Homeschool P.E. program. The next six-week session runs from December 3 through January 28, with classes every Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Kids can build fitness, coordination, and confidence in a supportive setting. Sign-ups are available in person or online at ymcafw.org/programs/homeschool-programs.
Whether you are looking for community, activity, or a new start, the Benbrook YMCA has something to help you move into winter with energy and connection.
