Getting ready for Thanksgiving doesn’t have to start in the kitchen! The Benbrook Community Center YMCA is encouraging residents to get moving with its Trot Together Challenge, leading up to the 45th Annual YMCA Turkey Trot.
Running October 15 through November 25, the challenge invites participants to complete activities such as walking with a friend, trying a YMCA fitness class, bringing a guest, and finishing a practice 5K.
Participants can register for the challenge and pick up a Trot Together Passport at the Benbrook YMCA. Each completed activity earns a stamp.
Those who complete every challenge, including the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, will be eligible for an exclusive YMCA challenge shirt in addition to their official race shirt. We’ll distribute challenge shirts in December.
