Benbrook Parks & Recreation Board Meeting Set for October 8.

Benbrook residents will have another chance to weigh in on local parks and recreation plans when the Parks and Recreation Board meets Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, 911 Winscott Road.

The agenda includes approval of January’s meeting minutes, as well as a presentation on new equipment proposals for Castle Park and Robot Park. Time will also be set aside for citizen comments, giving residents a direct voice in the discussion.

Board meetings are open to the public, and the city encourages community members to attend, whether to listen, provide feedback, or stay informed about decisions that shape Benbrook’s green spaces.

The full agenda can be viewed on the City of Benbrook website. Residents can also review past minutes and recordings online.

The Council Chambers are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations or questions about accessibility, contact Bennett Howell, Public Services Director, at 817-249-6063. Requests for sign interpretive services should be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Community meetings like this offer a chance to see how ideas become action and how neighbors can help shape the future of Benbrook’s parks.
