Benbrook’s Parks and Recreation Board will meet next Wednesday, Oct. 14, with new board leadership and an overview of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department on the agenda.
The evening begins with a public works session at 7 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Benbrook City Hall, 911 Winscott Road.
New board members are scheduled to take the oath of office before the board selects its chairperson and vice chairperson. City staff will also present an informational overview of the Parks and Recreation Department.
Residents will have two opportunities to speak, including comments on agenda items and a separate informal citizen comment period. Comments are limited to three minutes per person.
