Benbrook Mom Opens Play-Based Preschool Prep with Heart.

A fresh wave of early learning is hitting Benbrook, thanks to local resident and educator Shatney Stevens.

She has officially opened registration for Happy Heart Academy, her in-home preschool prep program designed for children ages 3 to 5.

Rooted in play, kindness, and emotional growth, the program provides a warm and supportive space where young learners can develop school readiness and confidence.

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Shatney has created a classroom full of care and creativity, complete with silly songs and intentional learning moments.

Happy Heart Academy is more than just a place to learn the ABCs. It’s a personal mission to help every child feel seen and celebrated. Spots are limited, and local families are being invited first.
