Benbrook Library Welcomes Denise Smith to Board of Trustees.

The Benbrook Public Library is proud to welcome Denise Smith as its newest Board of Trustees member.

Smith, who was appointed in November 2024, has a deep passion for community engagement and a strong commitment to the library’s mission.

A Benbrook resident for 19 years, Smith is a dedicated wife and mother of three who values faith, literacy, and service. She holds a Bachelor’s in Microbiology and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Over the years, she has actively supported Benbrook through volunteer work at her children’s school, church, and the library. A proud advocate for the community and her Hispanic heritage, Smith is excited to serve during the 2024-2025 term.
