Benbrook Library Hosts Sensory-Friendly Storytime for Neurodivergent Kids.

The Benbrook Public Library is introducing a new storytime experience designed especially for neurodivergent children.

Scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd, from 9:30 to 10 a.m., the event offers a welcoming, sensory-sensitive environment for children ages 3 to 7.

Children will enjoy an engaging morning filled with stories, movement breaks, sensory play, and social time—all thoughtfully structured to provide a calm, inclusive experience. To ensure a comfortable environment for all, the library will maintain a strict no-food-or-beverage policy due to varying food sensitivities.

Space is limited to 10 participants, and registration is required. Families can sign up online at this link or here.

The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street. For more details, visit benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.
