Benbrook Library Hosting Spring Puzzle Competition.

Puzzle lovers in Benbrook may want to start sorting edge pieces now.

Benbrook Public Library is inviting residents to its Spring Puzzle Competition on Saturday, May 30, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., turning a quiet hobby into a fast-paced team challenge.

The event follows a BYOP format, short for “Bring Your Own Puzzle.” Each team must bring a 500-piece puzzle that is either brand new or confirmed to have all its pieces. Before the competition begins, teams will swap puzzles with another group, adding a mystery element before the race officially starts.

From there, it is all about teamwork, focus, and a little strategy as teams compete to see who can finish first or make the most progress before time runs out. The library says prizes will be awarded to the top two teams.

The competition is designed to be friendly and welcoming for both experienced puzzlers and casual participants looking for something different to do together.

Registration is required via the Benbrook Public Library website. Additional information is available by emailing or by calling 817-249-6632. Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street in Benbrook.
