In a program where winning has become routine, Benbrook’s golf teams added another chapter to a long run of success.
At the District 8-4A Golf Tournament, both the Bobcats and Lady Bobcats claimed district championships, marking the 12th straight year the program has swept both titles. The Bobcat Green Team also turned in a strong showing with a second-place finish.
Individually, Avery Glanzer continued her dominance, capturing first overall in the girls division for the fourth consecutive year.
On the boys’ side, Brady Peloquin earned his first district title, adding to a day that reflected both experience and emerging talent.
With another district sweep secured, Benbrook now turns its attention to the Class 4A Region 1 Tournament in Lubbock in two weeks.
