Benbrook Elementary turned curiosity into hands-on learning last week as students met with local professionals during the school’s annual Career Day.
The event welcomed several community partners who spent time showing kids what their day-to-day work looks like and how their roles help shape life in Benbrook.
Representatives from the City of Benbrook, the Benbrook Public Library, Sweet & Sourdough Fort Worth, the Benbrook Fire Department, and Benbrook Music Academy filled classrooms with stories, demonstrations, and plenty of enthusiastic student questions. Each visit gave Bulldogs a chance to see a different path they might follow in the future, whether it involves public service, creativity, food, safety, or the arts.
Teachers and staff shared how much the students enjoyed meeting people who live and work right here in their community. The day highlighted the strong partnership between the school and local organizations, reminding families that learning stretches far beyond textbooks.
Benbrook Elementary continues to build these kinds of connections each year, helping students dream bigger and understand the many ways they can contribute to their city.
