How easy is it to know what is happening at Benbrook City Hall before a decision is made?
That is the latest question Greg Clem, a candidate for Benbrook City Council Place 4, and Whitney Hughes, a candidate for Place 6, are asking residents as part of their ongoing “Benbrook Open Forum.” Both seats are among those on the ballot in Benbrook’s Nov. 3, 2026 general election.
This time, the candidates are asking residents about communication and access to local government:
“Do you feel you have enough information about the decisions being made in Benbrook?”
They are also asking what the City could do to make it easier for residents to stay informed and have their questions heard.
For residents who want to follow decisions directly, the City of Benbrook maintains an online Agenda Center with City Council agendas, meeting packets, and minutes.
The Open Forum is part of Clem and Hughes’ joint campaign effort to gather resident feedback on issues affecting Benbrook.
