For three days, the gym belonged to the next generation of Bobcats.
Benbrook Hoops recently wrapped up its 2026 summer basketball camps, bringing together young athletes from across the community for a week focused on skill development, teamwork, and plenty of time on the court.
Led by Head Coach Blake Mendez and the Benbrook basketball staff, campers worked on conditioning, fundamentals, and both individual and team aspects of the game. From ball-handling and shooting to learning to compete as a team, the camp offered players an opportunity to sharpen their skills while building confidence.
Reflecting on the week, Benbrook Hoops shared, “We had a great week of camp with these hoopers. Thank you to everyone who signed up. We hope everyone learned a little something, but more importantly, we hope you had fun.”
With another summer camp in the books, the future of Benbrook basketball looks bright, one young hooper at a time.
