
Benbrook Middle-High School students are stepping up this October to help families in need through a campus-wide food drive. Every Wednesday throughout the month, students can bring canned or nonperishable food items to the front of the school for collection.

Families in Benbrook have plenty of reasons to visit the public library this month, as the October Storytime Schedule features eight unique programs designed for kids of all ages. From babies to preschoolers, and even neurodiverse children, the library has crafted experiences that blend fun with learning.

With October bringing cooler evenings, Benbrook Tea and Wellness is expanding its schedule to include select nighttime hours. The shop plans to open on Tuesday and Thursday nights, giving residents a new way to wind down after a busy day.

The energy will be electric in Fort Worth on Wednesday, October 1, when the No. 12 TCU Horned Frogs take on the No. 18 Kansas Jayhawks in a Big 12 volleyball showdown at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena.
