Adoption Week Brings New Beginnings for Pets and Families.

National Adoption Week is underway through March 29, connecting adoptable dogs and cats from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control with families ready to give them a home.

The event is taking place at PetSmart Hulen, in partnership with PetSmart Charities, creating an easy, welcoming way for residents to meet pets in person and learn more about adoption, fostering, and volunteering.

What makes this week stand out is the extra support behind it. Adoption fees are covered, and those who adopt will head home with a small goodie bag, making the transition a little easier for both pets and their new owners.

The event runs Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving families plenty of time to stop by.
