The first Fish Camp of the season at Benbrook Stables wrapped up with plenty of grins and great catches.
Local campers got hands-on with fishing rods and reels, learning how to cast, tie knots, and identify freshwater fish found in nearby Benbrook Lake. But the fun didn’t stop at the water’s edge.
From pitching tents to building campfires and even using a compass, kids explored the basics of outdoor adventure in a way that felt more like play than practice.
If your kid loves the outdoors and has a curious spirit, two more Fish Camp sessions are coming up: July 21–22 and July 28–30.
