Western Hills High School golfers teed off at Pecan Valley Golf Course for the district tournament, delivering solid performances and setting the stage for an exciting finish on Day 2.
On the girls’ side, Bella Fierro put herself in prime position to qualify for Regionals as a Medalist, looking to shave off a few strokes in her final round. Isabel Alcala remains within striking distance but will need a strong Friday to punch her ticket. Abby Moilan made the most of the day, swinging with confidence and enjoying the competition.
The boys’ team—Mark Angel, D’Shawn Elder, Mauricio Martinez, and Daviahn Ervin—showed steady improvement throughout the round. As underclassmen, they’re gaining valuable experience and looking to build on their momentum for the final round.
