BENBROOK, TX (October 28, 2026) – All eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near FM 2871 were reportedly closed around noon Wednesday after a major rollover accident in which a vehicle struck a highway sign.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and law enforcement requested additional assistance with traffic control.
The accident is being reported as fatal, although details regarding the number of vehicles involved and those affected have not yet been confirmed.
Motorists traveling eastbound on I-20 should expect significant delays and seek alternate routes.
