Four Western Hills High School students are earning recognition for their artistic talents after receiving Honorable Mentions in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s Celebramos Art Show, held to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
The students, representing grades nine through twelve, were recognized for artwork celebrating culture, heritage, and identity through a variety of artistic styles and materials.
The honorees and their featured works include:
- Leslie Granados Suaste (Senior): Somos Hijos de la Misma Tierra, created with colored pencils.
- Vivian Maina (Senior): Viva La Fiesta, created with colored pencils.
- Damian Pham (Sophomore): Hawk Who Watches Far Family, created with oil pastels.
