A piece of Benbrook history now has the certificates to prove it.
The team at Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course recently presented the City of Benbrook with the official Guinness World Records certificates from the record-setting golf ball pyramid built during the 2025 Benbrook Heritage Fest.
Debbie Reynolds and Terri Janak shared the milestone during the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce September Membership Luncheon, where Mayor Jason Ward and Jessica James joined in recognizing the accomplishment.
Reynolds credited Janak and team members Owen Grant, Ethan Grant, Amber Dow and Camila Rojas for helping make the record possible, along with James for her support during last year’s effort.
And with Heritage Fest returning this Saturday, the timing makes the recognition especially fitting. The Benbrook Par 3 team hopes to share a few words with the community at the festival where the record was made one year ago.
The Chamber also left Benbrook residents with a little challenge: How many golf balls did it take to build the record-setting pyramid?
