A rough Wednesday for technology and cooling systems is creating headaches at several Fort Worth ISD campuses, including schools serving Benbrook families.
At Westpark Elementary, FWISD Watchdog reported the campus was dealing with both Wi-Fi and air-conditioning problems, with an indoor thermostat showing 79 degrees. Similar air-conditioning concerns have reportedly surfaced at other schools, particularly as temperatures rise later in the day.
Parents have also reported phone and internet disruptions across the district. Rolling Hills Elementary notified families around 11 a.m. that its phones and internet were down.
The problems come on the same day Western Hills High School experienced another power outage. That disruption was significant enough that the campusย dismissed students early.
The extent of Wednesdayโs districtwide technology and air-conditioning problems was not immediately clear. The reports point to separate issues affecting multiple campuses rather than a confirmed single cause.
