Create a Watercolor Koi Pond at Benbrook Library.

A quiet koi pond is coming to life on paper at the Benbrook Public Library.

Adults can spend the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. creating a layered watercolor koi pond shadow box. Using watercolor-painted paper and simple paper-cutting techniques, participants will build a dimensional scene filled with colorful koi, lily pads and rippling water.

No art experience is needed. The program is open to ages 18 and older, and registration is required.
