Crash Investigation Underway Near FM 2871 and Rolling Hills.

A heavy emergency response drew attention across Benbrook Sunday night after a serious traffic accident was reported near FM 2871.

Around 9 p.m., residents reported hearing numerous sirens and seeing emergency vehicles heading south on U.S. Highway 377 before converging near FM 2871 between Jerry Dunn Parkway and Rolling Hills Road.

Witnesses at the scene described significant damage to the vehicles involved, though the extent of any injuries has not been confirmed. Some residents initially believed the incident may have occurred along Highway 377, but eyewitnesses reported the crash was located on FM 2871 near the Rolling Hills area.

First responders from multiple agencies were observed at the scene as traffic was impacted during the emergency response.
