Summer break has officially arrived, and for many Benbrook families, that means it’s time to dust off the library card and start a new reading adventure.
Registration is now open for the Benbrook Public Library’s 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth a Story,” inviting readers of all ages to spend the summer discovering new books, attending events, and building a lifelong love of reading.
Running from May 29 through August 1, the program encourages children, teens, and adults alike to turn pages, uncover new stories, and stay engaged throughout the summer months. The library’s dinosaur-themed program promises plenty of opportunities for learning, imagination, and fun along the way.
Summer reading programs have long been a favorite tradition for local families, offering a simple way to keep young minds active while school is out.
