Now local fishing adventurer Riverside Garrett is giving the lake even more attention after recently calling it his all-time favorite fishing spot in the Fort Worth area during a new social media video focused on catching catfish, bass, and other species.
In the video, Garrett points to an area near the pump station tower on the dam side of the lake, where the water drops off steeply to around 20 feet deep. He described the location as especially predictable for tracking fish movement through the water column, allowing anglers to work the shoreline and consistently find action.
