The Texas Parks and Wildlife website shows that lakegoers are doing well catching crappie with minnows this time of year.
Other fish listed as “fair” this season at Benbrook Lake are white bass (with slabs and topwaters) and catfish with trotlines.
Black bass are reportedly slow this time of year.
