Benbrook residents attending Sunday’s Robot Park group photo at Dutch Branch Park may notice a strong presence of local leadership, and that is by design.
The City of Benbrook has issued a notice that a possible quorum of City Council members, along with members of several city boards and commissions, may be in attendance at the event. Those include the Parks and Recreation Board, Economic Development Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals.
The gathering will take place at Dutch Branch Park on Sunday, February 1, 2026. The group photo is scheduled for 2:00 pm, with attendees gathering around 1:45 pm.
City officials emphasized that this is not a meeting and no city business will be discussed or acted upon. The notice is issued strictly to comply with transparency requirements when multiple board or council members may be present at the same public event.
Residents are welcome to attend and enjoy the moment as the community comes together for a lighthearted photo at one of Benbrook’s newest park features.
