H-E-B and UIL Open Applications for 2026 Community Leader Scholarships.

Benbrook students with a passion for leadership and service have a new opportunity to pursue college dreams.

H-E-B and the University Interscholastic League are now accepting applications for the eighth annual Community Leader Scholarship Program, which recognizes high school students across Texas who excel in academics, athletics, fine arts, and community involvement.

15 students statewide will be selected, each earning $2,000 toward future college tuition. The program highlights teens who not only perform well in the classroom or on the field, but also show initiative and make a positive impact in their communities.

Families and educators are encouraged to remind students to apply early. The application deadline is Friday, January 30, 2026.
