Weekend Closure Alert for Westbound I-30.

Drivers moving through West Fort Worth should prepare for a significant overnight closure on westbound I-30 near Spur 580 and Linkcrest Drive.

The shutdown begins at 9 p.m. on Friday, November 14, and runs through 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, as crews complete scheduled bridge work.

All westbound traffic will be routed off the highway at Spur 580. From there, drivers will follow the frontage road and re-enter I-30 after Linkcrest Drive. With the detour in place and extra congestion expected, anyone traveling this stretch should give themselves additional time or choose an alternate route.
