Benbrook gathered this week to honor one of its own, Carlyle, who marked his 100th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and community leaders.
A longtime resident known for his adventurous spirit, Carlyle was still zip-lining and riding roller coasters as recently as last fall during a trip to Branson.
The celebration brought together Mayor Jason Ward, Benbrook Police and Fire, Meals on Wheels, and many neighbors who joined Danna and Gary Addison in recognizing this remarkable milestone. Carlyle’s legacy is deeply rooted in resilience, with longevity running in the family. His mother lived to be 112, once recognized as the oldest individual across five states in North Carolina.
From all of us at Benbrook Life and the broader community, we salute Carlyle and wish him a very happy 100th birthday. His life and spirit continue to inspire us all.
