The Benbrook Public Library has just completed its Summer Reading Program, and the results are impressive.
Over 22,000 visitors walked through the doors, more than 7,000 people attended programs, and over 1,200 signed up to read all summer long. Volunteers contributed more than 600 hours, and nearly 500 new library cards were issued. With 167 programs offered, the community made the most of the season.
Thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers, this summer’s success sets a high bar for next year.
