Winter Basketball Tips Off at the Benbrook YMCA.

The Benbrook Community Center YMCA is gearing up for another lively winter season, and local families now have the chance to get their young athletes on the court. Registration is officially open for the YMCA’s winter basketball league, which begins in December and draws students from across the community each year.

The program is designed for kids ages 3 through 10, with co-ed options in the youngest divisions and separate boys’ and girls’ divisions for older players. It’s a chance for children to learn fundamentals, stay active, develop confidence, and enjoy the thrill of team play in a supportive environment. Games and practices take place inside the Benbrook YMCA gym, giving players a consistent place to learn and grow.

The cost is $ 95 for YMCA members and $ 155 for non-members. With limited roster spots each season, early registration is strongly encouraged. Families can sign up directly at https://shorturl.at/tYaq5.

For additional details, parents can contact Chaz Jackson at chazeray.jackson@ymcafw.org or visit the Benbrook Community Center YMCA at 1899 Winscott Road.

Benbrook has long embraced youth sports as a cornerstone of community life, and winter basketball remains one of the most popular entries on the annual calendar. If your child has been eager to join a team or try something new, this season offers a great starting point.
