Benbrook residents are getting an unplanned workout chasing down their trash bins today as strong winds sweep through the area.
The gusty conditions have turned a typical Wednesday into a wild one, sending loose lids, recycling carts, and full trash bins drifting into driveways and down neighborhood streets. Many residents are still at work, leaving local blocks dotted with runaway containers.
City crews and neighbors alike are encouraging everyone to secure bins when possible and to be patient as folks get home to tidy up.
