Will Benbrook Ever Get a Retail HTeaO?

For a town that loves sweet tea, one question keeps bubbling up across Benbrook social media: When is HTeaO coming to town?

The short answer appears to be that no retail has been announced.

A recent online discussion drew dozens of comments from residents hoping the popular Texas tea chain might eventually open in Benbrook.

Several commenters said they had contacted HTeaO corporate representatives and were told the company is interested in expanding but would need the right franchise opportunity or location.

Others pointed to the convenience factor. While Benbrook offers local tea options, many residents said they would welcome a dedicated drive-thru tea shop closer to home.

The nearest HTeaO locations currently serving the area are outside Benbrook, including Lake Worth, leading some residents to make regular trips for their favorite drinks.

The conversation also revisited HTeaO’s brief local presence through Big Horn Travel Center near Markum Ranch Road. In 2025, HTeaO tea became available at the travel center, but residents noted that the partnership later ended and the products were removed.

For now, the discussion remains just that, a discussion. No official plans for a Benbrook HTeaO have been publicly announced.

Still, if local demand is any indication, there appears to be no shortage of residents ready to line up for a fresh glass of tea if the opportunity ever arrives.
