Sometimes a student just needs a little extra fuel to make it through the school day, and Westpark Elementary families have an easy way to help.
The Westpark Wildcats PTA is holding a snack drive Sept. 1 through Sept. 18 to help teachers and staff keep snacks on hand for students who need one.
Families can donate individually wrapped, nut-free snacks by dropping them off at the Westpark office. Those who prefer to shop from home can also purchase items from the PTAโs Amazon Wishlist and have them sent directly to the school.
A granola bar, bag of chips or applesauce pouch may seem small, but when a Wildcat needs a snack to get through the day, having one ready can make a difference.
