Westpark Fifth Graders Celebrate Big Year-End Adventure.

The school year ended with a memorable sendoff for Westpark Elementary’s fifth-grade Wildcats.

Last week, students boarded a private charter bus for a day packed with learning, exploration, and fun. Their adventure included stops at the Dallas World Aquarium, Frisco Commons Park, SciTech Discovery Center, and Dream Park before returning to campus.

While the trip gave students a chance to make lasting memories with classmates before moving on to middle school, it was also a reminder of what a supportive community can accomplish together.

According to the Westpark Wildcats PTA, the annual trip is made possible through fundraising efforts throughout the year, including school spirit nights at local restaurants, Winter Wonderland, the Decades Dance, carnival concessions, carnation grams, and other community-supported events.

The PTA extended its thanks to Westpark families and supporters whose participation helped make the experience possible.

For this year’s fifth graders, it was more than a field trip. It was a well-earned celebration of friendships, milestones, and the final days of elementary school.
