The Western Hills Cougars shook off a scoreless first half and roared to a commanding 4-1 victory over Young Men’s Leadership Academy on Saturday.
The second-half surge marked the Cougars’ second win over YMLA this season, following a 2-0 triumph in January.
With the win, Western Hills evens out at 6-6-2 overall, improving to 5-3 in district play and holding firm at third in the standings.
Next up, the Cougars gear up for a cross-town showdown against Eastern Hills on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.
